The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term "graphic design" is used synonymously. (Wikipedia)" I am taking this course as a Junior in high school because it intrigues me how colors, shapes, and lines can be brought into one simple image becoming a logo, well-known symbol, and many other things. Graphic design is everywhere, the majority of it is taken for granted. One never thinks about how much time and effort was put into creating the simple logo of an app or company.
